![]() To learn a recipe, a character must combine two different potions for the first time while brewing. When two potions have been placed in the Alembic for brewing, if they correspond to a known recipe, the known result will be shown in the bottom chamber. Once a recipe has been learned, the 'Recipes' interface in the Alembic can be used to automatically populate the alembic with the requisite potions from the character's inventory. This will only occur if you did not already learn an ingredient as part of leveling up.Ī potion recipe is the known combination of any two potions and the expected result. If a potion has "No Unique Use" it is not part of any learnable recipe and will typically produce a potion of sickness when combined with other potions.Ī random potion, the selection of which depends on how far along in the dungeon you are. Every five levels the character has a chance to learn the use of a random alchemy ingredient, and the player is guaranteed to learn the use of certain ingredients at certain levels.
